PROM recalibrating

Does anyone know where you can get a prom chip recalibrated?
Or if I can even have my 4.3 chip recalibrated to run a 350. The computers along with everything but the distribuitor and Throtttle body are the same, but I would assume the chips are diffrent. Even if it will run it, I would like to have it calibrated to the new motor im going to install after this swap is done.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: PROM recalibrating

IF the new motor is close to stock, I would suggest just getting a good performance chip for the same year/trans truck that came with a 350. If you need a custom configuration chip, try Fast Chip. They have a web site, and are in Tulsa OK. I had a custom chip burned by them about a year ago, and am real happy with it. Good Luck!

Mike-

You will need a chip to be burned. Try turbo city. They do alot of them for conversions/hot rods. Also, you might want to look into just getting a motor from a wrecked car/truck, and buying the ECM, wiring harness, and motor all complete. Takes alot of hassle out of it. Most yards will sell many of the late model GM stuff that way.
