How do you get to those damn taillight bulbs??

Had a couple brake lights go out a few days ago. Went out to try to get the covers off and I have no clue. On my old toyota it was just a couple screws. Thanks in advance

On my Blazer, when you put down the tailgate, you see two rubber stoppers on each side. Pull them off and you could get at the screws that released the lightcovers. Be careful not to drop the screws in. Hope this helps.

yea, lower the tailgate and there will be two hex screws going into the side of the plastic light cover, take them out then the whole thing will slide out, unplug the harness then there are two small screws that hold a black piece on, that contains the bulbs
