Squeaky Clutch

I have an 84 K20 4x4 with the SM465 tranny. The clutch pedal in my truck wont stop squeaking after we have tried to lubricate it many different ways. What lubricant or what would we have to replace to get it to stop???

Re: Squeaky Clutch

If I don't miss my guess, you have to change the plastic bushings on the rod that holds the pedals. My '79 was squeaking, and after disasmbly, I found out that the bushings were gone. I replaced them ( avalable through dealer only around here) the squeaking was gone.
On another note mine had gone on long enough to warrent changing the rod too. Due to wear.
