Does anyone know where to find useful wiring diagrams for a 1977 Chevy/GMC Pickup on the Web?? Looking for Fuse box to Dash wiring, and light switch/dimmer.

I've had luck talking to some guys that were taking automotive at the local technical school. If you know someone or can get to know someone, they should be able to hook you up with wiring schematics from the All Data sytem. The only other place that I can think of is a Haynes or Chiltons manual. Although not the best they are better than nothing.

I looked for those diagrams when I replaced the guages in my '78 with Autometers, and the only diagrams that I could find had the wire colors listed wrong. I ended up tracing them myself, by pulling out the dash cluster and following the wiring from the guages, through the plastic laminated contact circuit thingy, then into the wiring harness. From there it's just a short shot to the fuse box. Out of curiosity, what are you trying to fix?

I don't know of any online wiring diagrams. I use the Mitchell's Manuals at my Public Library. The manuals are located in the Reference section. Not sure if every Public Library has Mitchell's Manuals, but I think they should if they don't. The Mitchell's Manuals are very accurate, and have a special section for accessory wiring not found anywhere else but GM.
