Clutch linkage on 78\' 4-speed
Finally got the clutch linkage to stay put. My truck originally came equiped with an auto and np203 t-case. The guy before me put in the sm465 and np205. Somethings are rigged and some just aint hooked up(such as speedo-cable.) Any way the little ball joint bolt that comes off the bellhousing and holds the clutch lever up had to be extended to even reach. This was accomplised with some threaded rod and nut couplings. Well the coupling stripped out and dropped the clutch linkage which was tied together with a zip tie. I think I have it back together with a longer rod and new coupling but I dont doubt it will happen again. The emergency brake cables and clotheshangers hold up the exhaust which is all dented in on the passenger side from header/frame interference
