Brakes on an 87.

Hi, new here, great place by the way.
I just picked up a 87 C-10 and am currently getting it ready to certify. The truck needs a brake job and I am wondering how hard it is to change the front rotars and pads?? I've read you need to take apart the locking hub assembly so this is what makes me think it might be rather hard. Thanks for any tips or advice.

It's really easy if you have a service manual for the torque specs on the wheel bearing assembly, and the tool to get the bearing adjusting nut and lockring off and on. You can get either of these at any decent parts store. Of course, if it's a C-10, it's a 2 wheel drive so you don't need to dissasemble the hub. A K series truck is a 4wd, a C series is 2wd.

Well it's a 4WD 87. K-10. Sorry I wasn't really thinking I guess. Thanks for the info, I have a haynes manual.
