Rear main seal and oil pump Q?

I think my rear main seal is leaking (2 piece). I will probally be putting a clutch in tomorrow, so I will Have to fix it. Will I be able to remove the rear cap and slide the old seal on around and out. Then slide the new one in the same way? The engine has 129K miles on it. the oil pressure is good, but a few pounds less than my remanfuctured engine that blew up. I have an extra brand new Sealed Power stock oil pump. Is there any reason why I shouldnt put this in?
