K&N Cone Filter on \'94 Z-71?

i know you can put replacement K&N filters in, but can you remove the air box and put a cone filter on? i know its been done to a 99 Z in a Four Wheeler issue of mine but i was just wondering if anyone has done, or heard of it being done to a 94. Thanks

Go to www.ramairbox.com They have a very cool system that I bought. You can see a pic of it in the back of any Hot Rod magazine, in the black and white ad section. Very cool system, cheap for what it gets you. Mine cost me $220 with shipping and handling, including the cost of the K&N I purchased seperately. I have more power, it runs smoother, I'm not certain, but I think the mpg's went up some, and it even runs a little cooler. Take a look, it won't hurt.
