Dual Battery Setup

I have dual optima batteries in my truck and the secondary isnt hooked up to anything right now. I also have a PAC200 relay for it, but I was wondering if that relay would charge the second battery? Or would I need an isolator? and what would be the wiring scheme on that?
Thanks
Josh

Re: Dual Battery Setup

Not sure on what a PAC200 relay is. Is it the Painless Acessories dual battery relay? I've got one in my truck from Painless, and it charges both, connects both, and then the secondary one can all jumpstart the primary. All three are run off of a 3-way toggle.

Re: Dual Battery Setup

This is what Im talking about. It says nothing about charging the secondary battery, but w/ no charging system theres no use for a secondary battery. Has anyone had any experience with this relay?

Re: Dual Battery Setup

My painless one is very similar looking to the PAC 200. Let me dig around in my garage to see if I can't locate the wiring diagram, and email it to you. That relay should almost double as an isolater like the painless one. This is the painless system http://www.painlessperformance.com/w...at-battacc.htm

Re: Dual Battery Setup

Ok, I found the wiring diagram, and will be e-mailing it to both Prixor and The Kid. I've got no way of putting it up on the web currently. Sorry about the long wait guys, I've been working alot. Both at home and my regular job.
