35x12.5s rubbing like crazy off road

am i the onlyone tring to fit 35s under a stock chevy truck. ?

i have cranked the t-bars 1". but this was also my t-bar alignment so it worked out well.

front doesnt rub at all but the rear fenders are sliceing my tires like crazy.

ive got full outer lugs just hanging in the breaze.

gona see what a 1" adaleaf does. if that gets the tires further into the fenders with less rubbing then ill do some trimming to get tme the rest of the way.

although it then sit higher than the front. i like them level or hair nose down. i guess 1" wont be bad.

hope to get some pics of 35s lost in the fenders soon.

looks pretty cool with the tire crammed in there. face of the tires contacking the full frond edge of the fender and all of the top. back off the fender is safe so far.

hopefully the next report will have pics.

Cut-out fender flares might do the trick.

not sure what im gona do.

got some ubolts and made plates to flip the ubolts upside down. also made my 1" adaleaf.

gona do all that tommorrow. just got done changin the tbi gasket. that makes 12 now that ive changed over the years.

might take the sledge to them and do kinda what chasen said. though i may just cut the inner fender lip and narrow it alittle to keep it looking good.

not sure till i lift it alittle first. thats the easiest and cleanest thing to do at this point.

beds are over rated, i've got an s10 with no box, cranked t-bars (actually just did em and havn't been on the trail yet), free junk 33's, it goes like hell and i imgaine a full size would do the same.

yeah, but this truck is in dang good shape, has pretty close to new mt treads. hardly any dents or anything. when im driving and watching the mirrors i can see rubber hanging of both tires lol.

im off to due the ubolts and adaleaf. also might role the fenders with baseball bat on my silver truck to see how it turns out if it looks good ill roll on the fenders on this truck.

Re: 35x12.5s rubbing like crazy off road

got the u bolts flipped last night, didnt get the adaleaf in it was late and i decided it could wait.

axle is much cleaner with the fliped ubolts. next on the list will be to move the shocks over the top of the axle. this also means fabbing a cross member in over the axle.

shocks will be mounted on the second spring pad or bumpstop pad whatever that pad is??? with the tops kicked toowards the center of the truck . might be able to use stock lenght shocks to get all the travel i need.

wellp im headed out to cut and grind on stuff.

later
