Check Engine 97 Suburban

HELP!! 97 Suburban. Check engine light comes and goes. Had it checked at local auto parts store and showed a code for mass airflow sensor. Replaced and all was good for about 700 miles now light is back with mass airflow code and throttle possition sensor codes! Anybody else seen this? Am I chasing parts?? or will replacing the TPS finally resolve it? Truck runs fine then I shut it off at the store come back out and start it it runs rough and falls on its face if you touch the gas. If you let it idle for about 2 minutes it goes away?? Any ideas??

Re: Check Engine 97 Suburban

Try resetting the codes. I'm sure how to do a clean slate reset. It might be unhooking your battery for a little bit then reconnecting.

You might need to replace the TPS as well. I'm with you though, I hate "chasing parts".
