Re: 98chevy

Thanks...My buddies and I put it together little by little over the past few years in another buddies garage. It's good to have friends that are willing to swap labor. It's got 9" of total lift, 3 of which are body. I went with FabTech's 6" kit. This thing drives better now than it did when I drove it off the dealers lot. I highly recommend this kit. I haven't done much with the motor yet. K&N gen II kit, hypertech 3 computer programmer, ProFlow exhaust. Since my motors somewhat stock, I went with 4.88 gears and rear powertrax locker. I fabricated a set of ProComp traction bars to fit my FabTech suspention and added a 10" rear stainless drop bumper. I've got 8 KC daylighters that I'm going to put on as soon as I figure out how I want them. Anyways, this is a weekend truck. I run it on the road as much as it goes off. I haven't done anything real serious with it yet, but have a few weekends planned where it should get a work out.
