Does anyone know how well rough countries 6" suspension kits work for 1988-1998 chevy IFS fullsize trucks? How do they compare to more expensive kits such as superlift, pro-comp, and RCD? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I hear the bolt holes don't line up real well, but once you get them installed they're just about average quality. I've got a 3" Rough Country on my truck & I like it except it wears out lower ball joints, but the 6" drops everything so it wouldn't. I'd say if you are going to do it, have a shop install it for less headache. But if you're doing it yourself get a Dick Cepek (Extreme Suspensions) 6.5" lift, don't pay someone to install it, and get a better lift.

installed the kit on 94 with problems with bolt holes lineing up. this was a spindle lift. not sure what your looking at.

the kit I'm looking at sin't a spindle lift. I'm also looking at a fabtech kit which uses spindles. Anyone have any input on this kit?

fabtech is as good as the rest.

i truly belive you could grab any 4-6 lift and and be happy. im sure theres bad kits with poor fit comeing from all the manufactures in strings.

on mine ill probly run rancho or skyjacker. only because i like the lifts. id jump all over procomp(pro crap) lift if i found a good deal on one.
