hi volume water pump?

has anyone had any luck with one of those hi-volume water pumps? i have a 2000 K2500 with the 454 and would like to try and put one in but dont want to mess with another radiator, etc...any advice would be appreciated.

Unless you're managing to heat the water so fast that you need to hurry up and get it to the radiator to cool it down you're not going to gain much.

Are you having cooling issues? Often there is calcium in the radiator which inhibits cooling. Also, having too much antifreeze in the coolant can cause the specific heat to lower too much.

Try some Royal Purple? water wetter.
Its supposed to drop the temp by 20

Ahh water wetter. I forgot about that stuff. I used it in my truck, maybe in dad's too. I can't recall if it did all that much, but it didnt hurt. I think it worked well in Dad's truck.
