The last few days going and coming from work,my back end starts shaking violently.If I apply the brakes and slow down it goes away.The speed is about 45 and under and there is no common factors that I can guess,except it scares the crap outta me.When rolling the wheels back and forth while the engine is off and in park,I do not see any problem with my u-joints or driveshaft.The drivers side brake rear has allotta black crap all over the inside of the rim,thats all I can really see wrong.I will be taking it to a mechanic but thought I could get some ideas from this forum,as you all have been polite and helpfull before.thanks for your time.

Wheel bearing

The tire could be out of balance. It's poss that you may have thrown a tire weight going down the road. Sometimes when out of balance like that, it will only be noticable at certain speeds. It's worht a look before you go pulling things apart.

Check to make sure the weights on your drive shaft are also there.

Rotate your tires and see if it changes to up front....

IF it does it is a tire/wheel issue.

Well tell me what it says!!!! I can't read the small print....I just knew it said BEER [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/givemebeer.gif[/img]

All the software on my pc that allows me to resize it makes the small print too blurry to read [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wall.gif[/img]
