Drop in and say,,,,,,Hi

Hey folks, long time no talk too, figured you guys wouldnt like me anymore,,,I sold my 03 Duramax and bought a F350 Diesel.
Actually I've been really busy, I got married August 21st 2004, moved to a nicer (definatly not newer) home that needs some major work. And were having a baby boy in late August
Cody PM'd me and I figured I'd say Hey and see how everyones doing.
Reason I sold the Dmax was I had it in 2 times for injectors 3 times for the front axle (bad gears howling like crazy) 2xs for the drivers side window falling off the track and they had to replace the steering column. Found out a lot of people are having similar problems and some are being plagued with injector trouble after the warranty, that was an exspence I didnt want to deal with. Anywho, bought a 02 F350 Crew with the good ol international 7.3,,, definatlly lacks in the power department, but it tows very nice. I wouldnt touch a 6 ltr with a 10 ft pole (id like to have the trans though),
anyhow, been doing good and staying in line, hope you guys (and Gal (for u shorts)) are doing well

Well at least you still have the avatar. Congrats (see above).

Spoil the wife and the kid, I would say the truck should come in somewhere after that.

Hope I didn't lose my Man Card for that one.

No, you don't lose the man card when you say stuff like that. Matter of fact it's just the opposite. When your woman hears you talk good like that you get to use "the man stuff" more often

Re: Drop in and say,,,,,,Hi

Thanks all, I like the quick reply option, pretty cool
yeah, I havent even taken a pick of the furd yet (as you can tell, Im not a big ford fan)
I definatly dont plan on any serious mods, it does have the exhaust temp, boost and trans temp guages)
the only things Im doing is a Detroit for the rear, uncork the exhaust, intake and maybe strenghten up the trans a bit (T/C and valve body) thats probably the weakest link in the drivetrain.
Wifes allready spoiled and plan on giving my boy everything I couldnt have, but was in reach.
Man card, hehe, left that at the alter

Re: Drop in and say,,,,,,Hi

hey hey...good to see you're still alive. and i take all is well with the misses. goodluck with the house thing. I've been looking at buying one and the fiance says oh this is great "we" can just fix it up. well "we" fixing it translates to me not having time to hunt, fish, wrench, or anything else that might be fun. while she gets to take bubble baths in the jacuzzi that "we" install.

at any rate...glad to hear all is well with you.

Thats amazing...I know a stock 7.3 that'll smoke 37s with factory gears...not to mention the get up and go in that truck.

I have known more than 3 people to get rid of thier 2500s after injector problems. One guy had his in the shop like 23 times until the lemon law finaly took effect.
