Axle price question

Hey guys, I have a set of axles off of an early 80's K20 pickup truck that I want to sell. The front is a D44 and the rear is a 14 bolt FF. The gears are 3.33's and the condition is good. They need a bit of cleaning up, but are good enough to use as they are. Just curious how much I should ask for them, since I have never looked into this older stuff. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Re: Axle price question

200 bucks for the pair at the most. those axles are adime a dozen

78 was the last year d44s were common in chevy trucks. 79- 87 had ton of 6 and 8 lug 10 bolt fronts along with the ff 14 in the rear. my guess would be its a 10 bolt.

Re: Axle price question

hmm.. maybe this truck is older than I thought. All I have is the frame with the axles. I cut the axles off tonight but didn't pay attention to what the cover on the front axle looked like. I will have to go out there tomorrow and have a look at it again. I could have swore the guy told me it had a D44 up there. Guess I wont know for sure until I look for myself huh? Thanks for the input!
