These rims clear??

Hey will these things fit my truck with my 285/75's?

Think they will polish up any better than that?

Re: These rims clear??

They'd fit fine, but even if you do get them polished, you'll regret buying them the first time it snows & you get salt on them or when you first get brake dust buildup on them. Polished wheels are for southern states.

Re: These rims clear??

They'll probably rub like nobodies business. It's a wider wheel that hangs out more, plus with that wide of a tire on there, it's bound to rub. If you had 265/75s on those wheels, you'd be fine.

Re: These rims clear??

I had the same size wheels with 285's on my truck before the lift. They rubbed making turns on the pavement. You can probably get by with some trimming if you keep it on the pavement, but you will have to lift it if you plan on using your truck off road at all.

Re: These rims clear??

3" lift? Because I do take my truck out mudding and the mud hole I go to require alot of flexing to get in and out... Oh well, maybe I should just wait and a for a 3-4" lift...
thanks
