Ordered 2 inch B/L Question

Well I ordered a P/A 2 inch B/L today.

The box section seems like a no brainer but the cab and front clip is where I have a question.

First off will I have to remove my seat and flooring from the truck????

Are the mounting bolts for the cab and front clip just going into a welded nut or will I need a wrench to catch the nut???

Thanks. Hope I can do this without messin my truck up.

Nope, don't need to remove seat or carpet. And yeah the bolts thread into the cab, no nuts to hold.

Re: Ordered 2 inch B/L Question

Thanks Jason. I asked about the seat because I read the install instructions for another make of body lift. They had them online and it said you have to remove some clips to allow slack.

Happy you don't have to. Thx.

To remove the front bumper to I have to remove the grill? I noticed there are two bolts just below that gap filler plastic peice.

Again thx

Re: Ordered 2 inch B/L Question

That's the worst part of the lift, is removing the hose and wiring clamps that attach to the frame and body at close proximity.

If it's what I'm thinking your thinking, there should be bolts just under the bumper (there's not much to it) from the front frame horn. Might be tough, but you shouldn't have to remove the front clip to get at them. Then you'll just put in some square spacers and a longer bolt?

Re: Ordered 2 inch B/L Question

to take the bumper off there are 2 brackets on the frame rails and then another bracket on both sodes of the bumper that hold its on. Its pretty easy to take off.
