Ring gear

Here are some pictures of the ring gear. It looks brand new. It has no marks or gouges on it. The pinion has looks great. I pulled the axles and all the bearing surfaces look fine. I plan on replacing the bearings and seals anyway.

Re: Ring gear

I soaked the ring and pinion in mineral sprirts. They are really clean now. There was a lot of dried gear oil all over everything. Gear ratio is 3.73, I am debating on regearing. Then I would have to look into regearing the front or waiting a long time to save up money for a SAS. I found a D60 for 1500, it may need the right gears and then all of the steering, etc.
