my truck doesnt like to idle when hot. when first started up in the cold morning it seems to run fine, but a tad bit too high for an idle. i replaced the temp switch, o2 sensor, pcv valve, and just about every other sensor you can buy at a auto store. and it still sputters and gags and then dies. im thinking 2 things...my injectors are clogged up, and or i just recently replaced my clutch, i took off my manifolds and piping for my exhaust and never welded the 3" pipe to the manifolds. therefore i have a nice exhaust leak, but i was told it might cause my truck to sputter on idle?? ive been meaning to get it welded back together
what do you guys think? ive been wondering this for along time and its driving me nuts i cant leave my truck running. thanks alot for your help.
