Re: Spray paint is fun!

Matt made a boo boo when rebuilding my box so I sent it back to him today via next day air and a return label for the same. Hopefully have it back and driving by Thursday... Trucks done other than that.

Re: Spray paint is fun!

That was quick! Did you prep it first or just mask-and-go? What type of paint did you use? Looks a whole lot better than white, I'll give that to ya.

i think its a photoshop look at the door handles and the edge of the cut outs, but if it isnt one more power to jason i guess, i dont know anyone that would do that to a truck that new.

Re: Spray paint is fun!

Yes, it's photoshop... or something like it. But, you must work a pretty mean mouse, Jason. You did a good job. Except the little bitty piece of white cab above the back window... on the pass side. Aside from the fact that it was made from the pic in the other post too.... Man, that's actually cheaper than a rattle can job!

So, are you testing the waters to see about going with that color? I sort of prefer the white... but what the heck... as long as it runs good I could care less.

Re: Spray paint is fun!

I'd be forced to shoot Jason if he did that to his truck. If anything, paint it Chevy orange if you're going to ghetto it up. I like the no BS look of the original white. Camo is over the top.

It's enough that the bed is as big as the new Wrangler Unlimited wannabe Scrambler. Please, no camouflage.

VS.

Guess you washed your truck and the water ran in the same place the next day, and the sun was in the same place... and you were standing in the same place....
