It Moves!!! Well, not really...

Okie dokie, I backed it, err, pushed it out to the end of the driveway so I could clean up where it's been sitting for a while and get all the oil mopped up and the driveway washed down. It was a good photo op:

Heres a closeup of the rear brakes finished up, bit rusty:

Oh man, looks sweet. Must have been fun to push that beast. Whats that new sticker on the second window on the driver's side? The second mechanical caliper isn't on the rear brakes in that picture, is it?
Looks like you got the gears back in too!

Anyways, looks awesome man. Get that thing running and get some real pics!

Re: It Moves!!! Well, not really...

It's done and I started it up and found a problem with my steering box. The torsion bar inside the sector shaft that measures the amount of force being put on the box is broken so I have to send it back to Matt at WTO for the 3rd time now... So it's going to be at least another week before it drives. But other than that it's done.

Sticker is of my 4x4 club, "Nor Cal Off Road".

Youve got a pretty good departure angle on that thing. I hope you dont get it hung up on anything!!!

I think you should paint the cab green so it would all match and it would look a whole lot better.

Re: It Moves!!! Well, not really...

I carry a 50' self-coiling hose mounted in front of my right rear tire inside of a 4" piece of PVC. My air system is complete except for I don't have a pressure switch/regulator to turn my compressor on and off. I'm too cheap to pay $45 for one from the auto parts store, where'd you get yours? I want one that has adjustable cut in and cut out because differential switches are gay. But I'll ghettofab any of them to do what I want. I just don't want to pay $45 for one.

Re: It Moves!!! Well, not really...

I bought the Square D one used on most compressors that are made for shops and it cost about 15 bucks...

Full adjustable accept for the differential. It has a preset like 30psi cut in/cut out differential but the cut-in can be changed.
