Shake...rattle.....and shake

Hello guys. New here. I own a 1992 1500 4x4 w/350. My problem is this. In O/D at about 70mph my truck wants to viberate, shake whatever you want to call it. What happens is when the engine gains RPM's (to pass or go up a hill) it viberates/shakes. It stops when I release the gas, or push it a little more. At a steady speed it doesn't. Now I looked at the universal joints and no slop or slippage. Any suggestions????

check your transmission fluid. that sounds like teh torque shuddering to me. this is a common problem when the fluid is deteriorated. your fluid should be a translucent pink. if it is brownish or orange and smells burnt you need to have it changed. i recommend flushing the system and then dropping the pan and replacing the filter and gasket. this typically cures them. goodluck

I second the transmission problem. You might want to go get it checked out.

How easy is it to do a transmission flush? Other than fluid, filter, and gasket, what else am I going to need?
