Re: Truck was broken into

I also unlock vehicles from time to time. Chevy trucks are the easiest by far (88 and + for sure), i don't really see any benifit from the jimmi jammer because i never even go in that way to unlock the vehicles. There are plenty of other ways to unlock your truck with that in place...

i just went to that site to see how the jammer installed, and it would not interfere with unlocking the truck with the z-tool needed to unlock your truck.

Re: Truck was broken into

there are other ways, but popping of the door handle seems to be the preferred way for most thieves. This simple device slows them down enough to make them think twice about breaking in. We're not saying it's perfect or even close to it, just trying to make it more difficult for them.

Re: Truck was broken into

I can get in through the back slider with no tools. The little plastic lock thing is crap. I figure that the jammers will slow someone down. They could probaly see the new Jimmi Jammer stickers and bust a window instead. SOL either way. Under the door handle the sheet metal is bent a bit and I can't get it straight. It makes it that much easire to stick a screwdriver into the handle when you can see inside the door. The bent back part allows you to see the locking mechanism. BTW I also have a hide a key and a AAA card key in my wallet. Thanks.
