Suspension Tire combination

Ok here is the deal. This up comming summer I am going to lift my 96 2 door tahoe sport. Now last summer I bought a set of 285/75/16 BFG MT. I would like to be able to fit 315/75/16 in the future. But that is like in 2-3 years. And to be able to fit that size of a tire you have to have a 6 inch lift and that is what I want but what I want to know is would the Dick Cepek K1500/2500 88-98 6.5'' Series II lift kit look totally stupid rolling on 285s or should I just get the Rancho 4 inch and just deal with the smaller size lift. Because no matter what I am going to lift it this summer. So guys will you please give me some advise on which kit to choose. Thanks

Re: Suspension Tire combination

If you're gonna run bigger tires in the future, go with the 6.5 kit. It won't look bad, and so what if it looks funny until you can afford gears/bigger tires? Plus, you'll want to go bigger after you install the 4".
