did that with my first truck on a dirt road on a mountain. got stuck and rocked it free with no one in it. it rolled back down the road and almost off the egde of the mountain. both left tires hanging off the side of the cliff. only reason it didn't go all the way was a friend of mine jumping in through the driver's window and pulling the e-brake.
