pioneer cd player and shackle flip kit

Does anyone have the pioneer deh-p47dh player, the one that fits the GM stock location? Im thinkin about gettin one from ebay and i want to kno if its any good.

Also does anyone have the shackle flip kit from off road design? Ive heard good things, but i was wondering bout the right amount of lift. If you have it could you tell me what set up u have in the front?

if you need 4" for the rear, then yes, its the right amount of lift. if it isn't, use a small block, addaleaves or whatever size spring you need to acheive more lift.

i have my own shackle flip in the rear and got 4 plus my addaleave. i'm runnig a 6" tc lift.

I like the Pioneer decks in general, so if it has the features u want, go for it. But really look at the features of other decks and pick one by the features, not the fit. A regular DIN deck with the fit kit doesn't look bad.

Re: pioneer cd player and shackle flip kit

I have one in the Wife's Grand Chero. It is a nice unit. No skipping. We had another one in a previous vehicle. Didn't have a complaint w/it either.

Have had two ORD flips on different vehicles. They worked well. Ran it on a 79 3/4 ton w/6" front springs. Used a longer shackle to help adjust the lift. Also had one on a 85 suburban w/4" springs. Kept everything inline.
