O.T. Pictures from my backpacking trip

Just got home tonight from my backpacking trip. I took two friends who had never been before, let's just say this was their first- and last time to go. We forged the Little MO. River twice, and the second time I didn't have to take my boots off, just slipped on my gaiters and ran through the water not getting wet. The weather was about 40* when we did this. 2 miles the first night, 20 miles today, and then drove home 300 miles right after that. They wimped out the last two miles, so I told them to take off their packs and grab a seat, 2.5 miles and 30 mins I was back with my truck to pick the lazy bums up.

ANYWAYS, here is some pics, I'm not in any of them, but you can see some sweet scenery.

Looks like a pretty place. About two weeks ago I went to Bankhead National Forest with a few friends and we had a blast. The temp was about 40 during the day and 30 or so at night.

I believe there is trout in those rivers. I went a few years ago and a friend was catching trout in that river. No fishing this time, just a bunch of pasta and granola bars
