Possessed Tcase...Part Duex

I still got that gnarly poppin' going on in my tcase when I go over any roads less than perfect. I check the mounting bolts..both on the xmember and in the rubber block on the adapter. They're all there, and they're all snug. The linkage on the tcase is fine and tight too.

It seems like wat the noise feels like is when the suspension compresses, it jams the driveshafts into the tcase. I don't know if that's even possible or what The latest development on this mystery is the tcase popping has even surfaced when I applied throttle after lifting off the accelerator. Kinda like the torque cause it

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON??

Anyway, if anyone has any fancy voodoo dances or magic tricks, let me know.

I can't remember what we covered last time but did you check the tranny to t-case bolts? And the mount that mounts the t-case adapter to the crossmember? Those bolts fell out on mine on the highway and every time I would get on the gas the tranny/tcase assembly would slide sideways making some cool noises then the shifter handle would go all over the place... Turning real sharp made it pop alot...

Re: Possessed Tcase...Part Duex

How about the bushings that hold the front axle in place? If the rubber has deteroiated and the axle is moving around, could cause the driveshaft to be pushed into the transfer case and cause similar noises...
