Idle stop screw adjustment

I was looking though my chiltons book page 5-26, and come across an adjustment for the idle stop screw. Says to only do this if you have replaced any throttle body parts. i have replaced some parts on the throttle body, do i need to do this adjustment? and what all does this do?

Re: Idle stop screw adjustment

is that the one on the throttle cable? if so, then you just tighten or loosen it depending on the idle rpms.
