Re: HOLY SCHNIKES!

Jwingfield2k,

Id hate to break it to ya, but:

That is very fast. You wanna know why? Its powered by a 12 valve Cummins. It also has a couple of power goodies: twin turbos, bts tranny, and a heavily worked injector pump.
I love MY motor

Re: HOLY SCHNIKES!

Here is the most information I could gather on that truck:

"1995 F350 XLT 4X4 CC LB SRW Built E4OD by BTS with Baumannator controller. 12 valve Cummins with ported head, Piers race pump & Camshaft, 370 injectors, twin [email protected] 95psi boost 800 rwhp on #2 only 4.10's, Detroit locker, 36" PJ dirtgrips"

very, very impressive truck

Re: HOLY SCHNIKES!

Well, I only ever saw one big truck with slicks, and he wasn't racing...

Re: HOLY SCHNIKES!

...all Im gonna say in direction to the Cummins is "Theres No Replacement For Displacement"
and I got 379 CI plus a Turbo...although Id still get smoked Time to rebuilt my motor and add a few goodies

actually how hard would it be to swap a 12V cummins into a Chevy? im gonna guess i would not be able to use the stock tranny

Re: HOLY SCHNIKES!

Are you implying that your 6.2 can be compared to a 12v cummins? Please tell me thats not what your implying...

You can throw 5k into a 6.5td and get just a tad better 0-60 times and more power than a stock cummins...
