Superlift hints

I am going to be installing a Superlift 6" lift on my '03
Silverado this weekend. The instructions look pretty good,
but does anyone have a link to a web page where someone
has already done the lift and has posted any hints or pictures
that might help?

Removing the torions bars looks tricky!

Re: Superlift hints

Search on this fourm for suggestions on removing the T-bars. There are several methods to doing it safely without the GM puller.

Not sure if the 99 and newer T-bars are setup any differnt than the 90's ones though....

Re: Superlift hints

When I had to pull my t-bars I took out the cv shafts then put a floor jack under the lower a-arm. Then I took out the upper a-arm to frame bolts and let the whole assembly drop down till the tension was off of the bars and slid them out. No problemo.

Re: Superlift hints

hmm, i don't remember how i undid mine. i stuck a jack under the Aarm and let it down after i released the tension on the bar. then pound the xmember back to give the tbars room to fall out. yes, you gotta bang on it. yes it is hard. use a 2x4 on the xmember so you don't dent it up.
