96 vortec 350-what needed to make it run?

A buddy wrecked his 96 z71, he's selling the vortec out of it, what all do i need off of the Z (as far as computers and harnesses are concerned) to make it work in another vehicle?

Holy poop it's an old potato!

Umm, you will need the computer itself on the inner fender, and the main engine harness. WIth those two parts as long as you have a good diagram of the pinout on the computer you should be good to go. Just hook the harness to the engine and computer and possibly trans then use the diagram to find which are switched +12 ignition, which are constant +12 and which are ground.

Hey, how F'ed up was it? I have a 96 Z, and I am looking for parts. I need the steering box, and the CV axles. Is he parting it out? Fenders, doors, CD player, etc???? [img]images/graemlins/deal.gif[/img]
