Re: Looking for 285/75/16 tires.

I have (4) 285 BFG A/T... Have 23k on them and easily have half the tread life left. Downside, I am far away from Texas, so I can only imagine shipping will be a little costly.. They were purchased in May 2002. If you are interested, I would want $375 + shipping. Let me know

Re: Looking for 285/75/16 tires.

200 is very fair offer, those tires might be worth 50 bucks a peice.

look around localy, check out the tire shops, walk in there and say hey Im looking for some used tires. lots of times people get tires that are to big, run them for a day or two whle rubbing the fenders, then bring them back and get a smaller size. you could probly get those for 400-600 and there like new.

Re: Looking for 285/75/16 tires.

$200 is a fair offer, but I don't want to spend $500 of my own money to get new ones...I would have spent up to about $300 of my own money. Check locally, and something should turn out... Check ebay weekly to, because last week, they had 315's and I believe 305's as well. I know thats not what your looking for, but it could be a start.

This is just personal preference but I'd think that 255/85R-16 would fit better on stock wheels, ride better, and wear better. Plus they're a smidge taller.

Re: Looking for 285/75/16 tires.

I have 4 geolander M/T tires (285/75/16) still on the truck -- would probably take 200, maybe.
tires have roughly 35-45 percent left, last time I checked there was 8/32 at the WORST spot, which is just under 50 %, but that was 2 or 3 months ago. no plugs or anything like that, good condition.

let me know if your intrested

Re: Looking for 285/75/16 tires.

in my never to be humble opinion, do not pay more than $200 for a set of used tires. you will pay the same amount of cash to mount and balance these tires, and you will have to do it again in a short amount of time as you will not get the traction of the original owner.
