New lower A-arm?

The joint where the lower control arm connects to the brake assem. broke, and it seems as though theres some sorta bracket at the bottom of the A arm which is also cracked, so do i needa new a arm with the bracket alredy on it or can i just buy the bracket and joint and just bolt it right on to the a arm? its too cold outside so im askin here instead of goin out and seeing myself. thanks fellas

Re: New lower A-arm?

Long time ago there was a recall or service bullitin on that problem.Maybe a call to a friendly GM service manager would help get the info.

Re: New lower A-arm?

If you mean the ball joint is broken then yes you can replace just that but if an actual structual part of the a-arm is broken you need a new arm.
