Re: willyswanter!! brakes lines...

Why do you ask? Is there something that we don't know about?

Re: willyswanter!! brakes lines...

I thought he didn't like the Furd calipers and was trying to make everything Chevy? I don't know, I just thought.
Jason is at SEMA BTW.

Still need to know?

I can give you the part #'s for Earls parts to make your own brake lines like I had to do...

Re: willyswanter!! brakes lines...

-989543 3/8 I.F. to -3an
-997603 3/8 banjo to -3an
-977503 3/8 24 banjo bolts
-63010132 -3an to -3an 32" hose

For each side you need one of each of the above. The IF to -3an adapter on the frame side brake line, then the -3an hose to the -3 to banjo on the caliper. You can get any length of hose from 10-44" in length in 2" increments, just change the last 2 numbers to the length in the part # for the hose.

I ordered through Summit, you can order them by typing in the part # in the "Enter Part #" search box with the ear- prefix. Examplte: ear-63010132

Re: willyswanter!! brakes lines...

stupid question,

why wouldnt I be able to use chevy lines with a ford end, with the 3/8" banjo bolt. that way thats the only thing changed. I could walk in the parts store and have em wip a few up.

or seeing as how theres a freakn ifs chevy swapped to straight axle at the yard I could just steel parts from it. damn the luck. I havent seen it yet, but my buddie at the yards like man your not gona belive this theres a 90s chevy with a straight axle under the front that just came in.

Im gona for sure rob the pitman arm maybe knuckle since I havent got off my but and had mine machined yet,(contemplatn doing it myself) maybe springs but Im sure its way to tall probly has like 8" springs or some [bleep]. the drive shaft if it will work with my axle and lift at 5"s and maybe the drag link but its probly to long. if its has oru brackets on it ill be livid, cause thats 800 basicaly wasted.
