OT: Jeep Commercial

Anybody seen the latest Heep commercial? The one where they take a Wrangler across some pebbles and a ZJ across a mud puddle? I've never seen anything so cheesy in my life.

At least the one where they took the XJ through the "uninhabitable swamp" had some good humor in it.

Haven't seen that one, just last night I saw the Rubicon one where the rubi parks on a rock with the front tire and the other front tire comes 3 feet off the ground. No flex at all, how gay is that?

Re: OT: Jeep Commercial

haha, i'm not surprised. the one i saw the liberty goes through like 16" of water and i thought it was funny. some car-based SUV manufacturer was bragging about how you can drive their car through 22" of water. i think it was subaru or something. i just thought it was funny.

a lot of those pictures jeep has been using lately are out of the UP of michigan. if you see one where they take the picture where its out in the middle of some waterfalls that's from somewhere around marquette i think.

Re: OT: Jeep Commercial

Honestly, Jeeps are great off road! It's senseless to take it through some shallow water and hope to impress people. It sure doesn't increase my Jeep want-ness level.
