corprate 14 bolt FF TO 6lug

I want to run chevy parts on my front axle to get rid of the ford dual piston calipers and the availabitly of chevy parts.

this may mean staying with 6 lug wheels or missmatched wheels front 6 rear 8.

anyone have ideas on the subject? Im running short in this department

Total Performance or TonyP on Ck5 makes a billet 6061 T6 alluminum 8 to 6 lug adapter.

Re: corprate 14 bolt FF TO 6lug

You can machine a 14FF hub and axle shaft down to 4.125". This is small enough to allow aftermarket 6 lug wheels to fit but factory 6 lug wheels have a 3.5" hole.

I was going to machine a hub down even further to see how far I could get away with but the local junkyard guy put every single one of his vehicles in the crusher except for a few select vehicles... none of which have truck parts on them.

Re: corprate 14 bolt FF TO 6lug

isnt that nice when they get rid of or crush a bunch or parts and not let you know first, our local salvage yard tossed a dumptruck load of front and rear axles they had huge pile in the back . that pile would have been nice to go through for parts an such.

IM debateing to stay 8 lug or 6 lug, if I go 8 lug I want to get all chevey junk. ohhhhh my p side axle shaft is shot, grrrrrr
