It should be fine. Jeeps arent really that heavy. I used to pull my dads 28' boat in his 1500 but he had the 5.7. It should be fine though.

pops pulls his 26' monohull all over the state with his K1500 with a 4.3L. i have towed a ford explorer behind my C1500 sitting on 35s and it didnt havea problem. when you get out on the highway, if it feels like its repeatedly shifting up and down, shift it into DRIVE not overdrive. that will save your tranny.
jeepsa re pretty light so you shouldnt havea rpoblems

well yeah, what else are you going to use a wannabe off-road street truck for when the real 4x4 is going to the trail and you already got the groceries for the week?
he coulda towed the Chebby behind the Bronco and accomplished the same thing but swampers wear faster

Hi there. I flat-tow (with a towbar) my 4runner all over, with my 2wd 1500, without a problem. Yours should work even better using a trailer. B.
