a way to get rid of that nissan ad.

Hey, once you sign on for the first time of the day to this board, just refresh the browser real fast to avoid that ad. Now I don't have to wait 10 seconds for that dumb thing to get out of the way so I can read the latest posts.

OR...

you can just do what muddybronco recommended and never deal with it again!

that thing was annoying me too so i got rid of it.. i'd totally forgotten about it till this thread popped up... just add
"127.0.0.1 ds.serving-sys.com"
to your "hosts" file in Windows and it will never come back you can do this for any pop up ad or banner ad if they bother you can your popup stopper isn't handling them right. The file may or may not already exist, and I think it's in c:\windows for win98 and c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc for XP or 2000. Not sure for others but search your HD for it first, and there should already be a line or two in there similar to above, such as "127.0.0.1 localhost". ... too tired to explain this well but that's the best way to nuke it for good
