700-r4

I am wondering what transfer case will bolt on a 2wd 700-r4 transmission. I have been told that a 27 spline NP 208 and a NP 241 will but is that true with the 2wd version tanny?

Re: 700-r4

I am not sure why you are telling me about axles and things like that. All i need to know is what transfer case will bolt up to a 2WD 700-r4 transmission.

Re: 700-r4

Your best bet is to go with a divorced mount transfer case and run a short shaft from the tranny to that... Or you could get a 4wd transmission or at least the tailshaft portion of it and the adapter and bolt it up... To my knowledge a transfer case won't bolt directly up to a 2wd transmission of most varieties... However I am nowhere near the 2wd transmission expert or anything...
