Air compressor mods

I got a new air compressor that says it supposed to get up to 125psi. It only goes up to 120, is there a way to get it up to about 130-135? There is a little sticker on the thing that says that it is set at the factory and don't touch, you can see why I want to tinker(because it says not to).

Re: Air compressor mods

well just like a paintball gun, there is a velocity regulator, (what regulates the amount of intake into the gun from the tank.) i would just assume theres some sort of screw that will go in-/out to allow more airflow.

Re: Air compressor mods

If it uses the standard Square D pressure switch, rectangular grey box, then you can adjust it. The pressure differential is set at the factory but you can set the cut-out pressure. Should have a little screw on it somewhere... But, you better make sure your tank, hard lines, and compressor are rated for it...
