instrument cluster swapability?

Howdy,

I'm wondering how feasible it is to swap a tach style instrument cluster into a pickup that has the giant gas gauge style instrument cluster?

Anyone try this? Did it work? Did you have to screw with the wiring?

Thanks,
Zeke
