Re: *****UPDATE*****

yeah a 350 just doesnt sound the same when its missing 2 cylinders. but i guess it'll be alright when i hit the petrol station. its just wired that a 2WD cheyanne is larger than a silverado Z-71. oh well though...i guess the chicks dig it...well at least the bench seat...............................ahhh if only that were the case.

I'll have pics of it when I'm done transferring equiptment and what not

Re: *****UPDATE*****

That must have been a mishap. You said you bought a Dodge? You almost had me fooled too! I'm just kidding, I really like Dodges since they come stock about 6" taller than Chevys do. Oh well. Sorry to see you leave the board of IFS Chevy. Enjoy your newly found MAGNUM power.

Re: *****UPDATE*****

Let us know how those Good(for a)year AT/S tires last.
The last person I knew that ran them wasn't too happy.

Sorry to rain on your parade

Re: *****UPDATE*****

Just FYI, i got those tires on my Avalanche rims about 17,000 miles ago, and mine are ready to be changed. I do drive like I'm 18, but its not like I've done big burnouts or anything, my truck isn't capable. Hopefully you get some more life out of them than i have. Oh, and they don't make a very good mud tire.....take my word for it

But congrats on a V8 4x4!

Re: *****UPDATE*****

Be careful Peacock. From what I remember that C1500 also has a Detroit and a 10 bolt.
Did you find a buyer for the Z71?

Re: *****UPDATE*****

Also forgot, my moms Explorer has over 55K on her AT's with more than half the tread left. They are rotated and balanced religously but all expensive tires that you want to last should.

Re: *****UPDATE*****

yup, 35s and a 10bolt locker...and a set of 31s as well. i figure with a 4.3, and an auto it wont put quite as much strain on the axles. engine doesnt produce nearly what the 350 does. and the auto trans isnt quite as harsh as the manual i had either. but yes i am going to be cautious with it. thanks for looking out though
