What\'s this wire?

I found a suspicious wire on my truck (89 Suburban) today. It was obviously a ground for something, attached to the top of the left framerail, at the back of the truck. Its 10 gauge. I'm thinking its something the previous owner rigged up for a trailer or something, but there is no obvious connection.
Anybody know what it might be?

You might want to trace down what the other end of said wire goes to... At least a general idea (i.e. if it goes through the firewall, or somewhere under the hood, etc)...

Re: What\'s this wire?

Its only about 6" long, one end is attached to the frame, the other is hanging in the breeze.
It must've been the previous owners mickey mouse towing wires.
