Atten AJM: tail light covers

Hey ajmblazer i noticed u had taillight covers when i looked at the reader rides and it looks sweet. Where did you purchased yours at and how much were they? One more question one you stick them on can you take em off and on?
and do they stick out a lot or is it flush with the body of the truck?

thanks
michael

Re: Atten AJM: tail light covers

Sorry, been kinda bored with the IFS forum lately. Yep, had them on the truck. Sell them to you cheap, interested? Mine are GTS. They only stick out a little, like less than half an inch, nothing to worry about. 3M double sided tape (same thing holding on your side body molding) sticks 4 little tabs of velcro to each, and then there's a reverse peice of velcro and 3M tape that holds them to the tail light covers. Stick well, and if they fall off, go buy yourself some 3M tape at an autoparts store for $5 (good thing to have anyways), and stick them back on. Velcro works sometimes and sometimes it sticks together so well the tape comes off. I just put more 3M tape on it and stuck them back on.

They looked good and worked fine (not sure how they wouldn't work) for me. Only problem was they REALLY cut down on the backup lights. I put in some high wattage reverse bulbs and it helped some, but still not as much with them off. So when I trail ran I took them off, and now here in Michigan I just leave them off. If you want them you can have them, email me and we can discuss prices, shipping, etc. I'm cheap, just ask 73K20.
