Thats about the strangest thing i've seen for avoiding tickets! Wonder if it works? Not that i'd EVER buy something like that, but makes you think.....

No offense to anyone using it

That's pretty ingenious, if it works.

Re: Kinda OT - This Was good for a Laugh!

I watched one of those "Real Police videos" TV shows once where they showed those are just wastes of money. If the police officer can't read it with his naked eye, it's still perfectly visible to the camera in the cruiser or the ticket camera at the intersection. On the negatives and low light video it shows ups clearly.

Not to mention it's illegal in many places.

i cheat, i don't run with license plate lights and since around here it snows for 8 months of the year (september to may) i just never take the snow off my bumper like the rest of the locals.

Yeah, it's funny to see all these cars where all the snow has been brushed off everywhere possible, EXCEPT for the bumper.

I keep seeing this white and black 92 Blazer Sport like that around here....................

I think I saw something like that, but it was a clear cover instead. The way it worked was it supposedly had some sort of prism to the lense. When you viewed it from straight behind it at it's level it looked normal, but say from above or whatever, it was all distorted. So far we don't have any of those picture things that I know of....or I'd be in a world of hurt.
