Poweraid Throttle Body Spacers - Good or Bad?

I have a 97 5.7 with a few mods, cold air intake, longtube headers, cam, programmer, and I was thinking about dropping some money into a throttle body spacer since I am rebuilding my engine right now. Are they worth the money and do they make any type of gains? Anyone with experience?

Hmm thats funny..... I have been checking the posts daily for the past 5 months and I have only seen possibly one post about this. What board have you been looking at Got lift?

Re: Poweraid Throttle Body Spacers - Good or Bad?

I thought the purpose of this board was to share information? Has it become that if the question has been answered once before that all the poster gets is a rude response? Some folks don't have a great connection and I can tell you personally that doing a search takes quite awhile. Also it took longer to type in "do a search" than it would to just answer the man's question. I believe the answer is NO they are they equivelent of the "Tornado" intakes. Not worth the money. I hope I haven't upset anyone but it just seems if you have the correct answer then just reply. It may be you asking a question someone has answered a thousand times before, and I'm sure you would like a quick response, not a hassle. I really like this board and I participate with answers when I have them, but lately it's just gotten real nasty around here.

This topic was covered just last week, I believe willys dubbed it as one of the "miracle mods" or something to that effect. No it is not going to do much. No, it is not worth the money.
