Well, we have seen the GM standard trucks and Suv's forum split up to a GM standard IFS, and GM standard SFA forum. Well how about this. So the people left behind on the IFS forum dont have to shoot ourselves to put us out of our misery, how about we start a GM Standard IFS Trucks & Suv's forum....and a GM Standard IFS Truck's & Suv's for POSERS forum. anyway just a thought.

On a more serious note....
I origionaly posted this idea in the "new rubbers" thread, but I think this one is more appropriate. here it is:

This gives me an idea.

Maybe we could have a "pinned up" post that never leaves the top, or maybe juat a link that says "Information for newbies" or "FAQ Archives".

Then, in the said post only a select few could add new information to it as more "what tire" type Q's are asked (so the newbies don't clog it up with more questions). It would include stock measurements, answeres to the "what tire" Q's, how to make a search friendly Sig. and that mods in text won't be tolerated, information on torsion bar cranking and the safe limit, Vehicle history (when axles were used, interiors changed, etc.), I'm sure there is alot more.

What'cha think? Maybe they could just use the search feature.[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif[/img]

But to the more serious part of my post, I agree. Chad if you could make a sticky thread at the top for us once one of us compiles a big list of FAQ's for GM IFS trucks, we'd sure appreciate it. Would save *tons* of worthless posts. Or rather I mean would have the *potential* to stop that since people don't seem to like to pay attention to bold lettering or all capitals anyhow (see Q&A board for evidence) [img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/laugh.gif[/img]. Worth a try.</font>
